About the role
Our client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer based in Boston, MA. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work mode.
What you'll do
- Review your teammates' code with care; raise the bar on quality.
- Partner with Product and Design to scope work and break down ambiguous problems.
- Improve the codebase incrementally; leave it better than you found it.
- Design, build, and maintain features in our TypeScript / Go / PostgreSQL on AWS stack.
- Own the full lifecycle of services you build: from spec to deploy to oncall.
What you'll bring
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, distributed systems, and testing.
- Comfort working in a high-trust, async-first engineering culture.
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years writing production software in a typed language.
Nice to have
- Open source contributions or side projects you can talk about.
- Experience operating production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with our specific stack.
