About the role
Our client is hiring a Senior QA Tester based in Phoenix, AZ. This is a contract role with a hybrid work mode.
What you'll do
- Write and execute test plans for new product features and regressions.
- Author and maintain automated UI / API tests in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Triage incoming bug reports, reproduce reliably, and partner with engineers on root cause.
- Improve test coverage on the most-used user flows.
- Champion quality practices in PR review and pre-release sign-off.
What you'll bring
- Strong written bug reports and test documentation.
- 5+ years in software QA.
- Hands-on with at least one automation framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium).
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and a scripting language (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python).
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile testing.
- ISTQB certification.
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
