About the role

Our client is hiring a Lead Project Manager based in Phoenix, AZ. This is a contract role with a hybrid work mode.

What you'll do

  • Run end-to-end delivery for cross-functional projects across 3–9 month engagements.
  • Maintain project plans, risks, dependencies, and decisions in a single source of truth.
  • Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, and retros; remove blockers.
  • Communicate weekly status to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to the executive team.
  • Drive scope discussions when timelines or budgets are at risk.

What you'll bring

  • Working knowledge of project management methodology (Agile, waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent written communication and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Comfort using PM tooling such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
  • 9+ years managing complex projects with multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

  • Background managing distributed teams.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
  • Industry experience aligned with the hiring team.
